New Music - "Angels" by Dirty Money
What do you get when you mix Diddy, Dawn, Kelenna(a new starlett) a classic track and Hype Williams? You get a fire video that harkens back to mid 90's when labels were spending money on videos (and music channels actually showed videos).
The track derived from the Jay-Z classic fits the trio well and the late great one opening up the joint make it that much more awesome (and yes awesome is going to be my word for the balance of '09). Before I can pass judgement on the whole album I want to hear more work. The teases from Diddy TV (every MTV show with Diddy in or on it) has not given me much confidence and while I liked 808's I'd rather see a group like Sa-Ra get some shine for taking the music out there. Not a manufactured trio. All that said, Bad Boy can do two things very well. Kill a solo artists career and make one hell of a club joint. - Buie

Nice beat. Video is tight. Biggie was a plus. But...(shaking my head "no") You said it with "manufactured." If the chicks were the lead singers, but Diddy can't sing that's all autotune (at the exact time Jay-Z releases a song called D.O.A.). I pass...(maybe the album will make me swallow my words, but I got doubts.)
