The L5 Universal remote a.k.a. The couch potato app

 

I fully embrace my inner nerd. In doing so I've got gadgets galore and the remotes to prove it. Universal remotes are the answer but isn't it just adding another remote to the equation. Yes. Enter L5 with their universal remote app.

While I have not had the opportunity to try it the idea is strong. The obvious downside is the IR transmitter. This little thing is beggin' to lost or eaten by the dog/vacuum/todler/drunk friend with a cold "Dude I thought it was a Halls" - Buie
